The Sydney West office was established at Parramatta in 1991 as the first satellite office reaching out from the Sydney office to assist in the important role of servicing Western and South Western Sydney clients. In 2014, there was a relocation of the office to Wetherill Park, to better achieve client outcomes. Since then, we have built a strong reputation in the region as being able to consistently deliver positive outcomes for clients.

Growing over many years and across multiple credit cycles, Balmain’s specialist commercial loan brokerage network is the largest and most experienced source of commercial loan origination not owned by the major Australian banks.

The Wetherill Park office is lead by Terry Leckie, Phillip Cunningham and George Atsalakis who oversee an experienced and motivated team that have a diverse set of skills and experience, capable of successfully managing all commercial enquiries. They focus on client service and provide the latest market information to ensure clients and business partners meet their future challenges in the rapidly changing financial environment.

Balmain primarily offers loan facilities secured by first mortgage security. Additionally, Balmain provides and arranges solutions across the capital stock including mezzanine finance and structured equity.

Who can apply?

Balmain finance is available to most borrower types including individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts, and deal directly with commercial mortgage brokers.

Balmain offers facilities that range from $100 thousand, to over $100 million. Balmain can also arrange or partner with other financial institutions to enable larger borrowers. The maximum loan amount is determined during the credit assessment process.
