Iran Silva is a Credit and Risk Analyst with over 22 years of progressive banking experience across Sri Lanka and Australia. Currently part of the Balmain Canberra office, he brings a strong background in credit assessment, portfolio management, branch leadership and strategic business development, supported by dual Master’s degrees in Financial Mathematics and Applied Finance.

Throughout his career in the Sri Lankan Banking sector, Iran progressed from trainee to Senior Manager, leading branch performance, managing credit portfolios, overseeing recovery strategies and driving sustainable sales growth.

With his extensive experience in conducting detailed credit analysis, Iran is passionate about using data-driven insights to support sound lending decisions.
