Josh Pereira

Josh is a Chartered Accountant and highly regarded real estate finance professional with more than 20 years of experience across property, banking, strategy and accounting. Over the past 15 years, he has held senior frontline relationship management roles with National Australia Bank and MaxCap Group, where he has advised and delivered funding solutions for many of Australia's leading developers, investors and property groups.

Throughout his career, Josh has established a reputation as a trusted adviser to clients across the institutional, corporate and mid-market property sectors. He has successfully structured and executed finance transactions across a broad range of asset classes, supporting the delivery of significant residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare and development projects throughout Australia.

At Balmain, Josh leverages his deep market knowledge, extensive industry network and commercial acumen to originate new lending opportunities and provide tailored and flexible funding solutions that help clients achieve their strategic objectives. He works closely with borrowers throughout the transaction lifecycle, from initial structuring through to settlement and project completion.

Josh is passionate about the role private credit plays in supporting Australia's property industry and enjoys partnering with ambitious clients to bring high-quality projects to life. Outside of work, he enjoys keeping fit, actively getting involved in his children's sporting activities and spending time with his family, including cheering on the Geelong Cats during the AFL season.
