Tashreeq Chota

Tashreeq has over 18 years of lending experience in both the mid-market and institutional lending markets, spanning a wide range of industries both locally and internationally and holds a Bachelor of Information Science from the University of Johannesburg.

Prior to joining Balmain, he was a member of Australian Unity's construction fund. Tashreeq has also worked for financial institutions in New Zealand and South Africa, covering all aspects of debt execution, including deal structuring, credit risk and portfolio and relationship management.

Outside of work, he loves watching all types of sports, spending time with the family and is a passionate field hockey player.
