The Deal

The Borrower approached Balmain with an approved Development Application (DA) for a subdivision site in Box Hill, NSW.

With a fast-approaching settlement deadline, they needed a funding partner who could cover both the land purchase and the full cost of civil works for 44 residential lots.

With no pre-sales in place at the time, Balmain stepped in and provided a facility that gave the client everything they needed to settle on the land and get construction moving without delays.

This was a direct transaction with a long-standing client. The relationship had been building for years across multiple projects, and this was a natural next step.

With approvals already secured, an experienced team on the ground, and a clear path from settlement to construction, the project was well set up from day one. Balmain backed the Borrower’s acquisition of the site and the construction development has now commenced.
