After a two year hiatus, Balmain welcomed Investors and friends back to their annual private Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prize viewing at the Art Gallery of NSW.
The Archibald Prize for portrait painting is the country’s favourite and most significant art award. Since 1921, it has highlighted figures from all walks of life, from famous faces to local heroes, reflecting back to us the stories of our times. The Wynne Prize is awarded to the best landscape painting of Australian scenery, or figure sculpture, while the Sulman Prize is given to the best subject painting, genre painting or mural project in oil, acrylic, watercolour or mixed media.

It was thrilling for all in attendance to once again join Balmain in sharing an evening of fine art, lively discussion and chamber music all accompanied by fresh and wonderful canapés and fine wines.

Balmain was in attendance at the St Catherine’s School “International Women’s Day Luncheon”, held on March 12, as the proud Platinum Sponsor of the event.
Our first Balmain town hall of the year, held at our new Sydney Head Office, was a great success.

After almost 2 decades, the Balmain Sydney office is starting a new chapter in its history.
